How Long Can A Praying Mantis Live

When buying a praying mantis nymph it will take between 4 and 6 months to reach maturity and when adult is will live for another 3 to 8 months.

However bigger mantises can live for 4 6 months. A bigger mantis lives longer than a smaller one. Giant asian praying mantis has an estimated lifespan of about 18 to 24 months. Most praying mantises can survive up to 8 weeks but there are certain species that hardly survive a month.
